Perfect Potato and Meat Salad

This simple recipe can be cooked on an ordinary grill too - just double the cooking time.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 cup Italian salad dressing
  • 1 lb. boneless beef sirloin steak
  • 1 lb. new potatoes, cut in quarters
  • 10 oz. pkg. mixed salad greens
  • 2 cups grape tomatoes
  • 1 cup Italian salad dressing
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

PREPARATION:

In zip lock plastic bag, combine 1/2 cup salad dressing and steak. Seal bag and refrigerated 1-2 hours. When ready to eat, grill new potato quarters on George Foreman two sided grill until tender and browned, about 5-6 minutes.

Set aside.

Remove steak from marinade, discard marinade, and grill steak on two sided grill 5-9 minutes until desired doneness. Cover and let sit for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, combine salad greens, grilled potatoes, and grape tomatoes in large bowl. Slice steak thinly across grain and add to salad. Steak Salad ala Mexicano Grill Recipe

You can make this excellent grilled salad in the dea of winter, with an indoor grill. It's so delicious.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 15 oz. can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 10 oz. pkg. mixed salad greens
  • 1 avocado, peeled and chopped
  • 5 plum tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 lb. boneless sirloin steak
  • 1 cup French salad dressing
  • 2 cups crushed tortilla chips

PREPARATION:

In large bowl combine beans, salad greens, avocado, tomatoes, and cheese and toss to combine. Add salsa and toss to combine.

Brush steak with 2 Tbsp. french salad dressing and grill steak on two sided dual contact grill for 5-8 minutes until medium doneness.

Remove steak from grill, cover and let sit for 5 minutes. Slice against the grain into 1/4" thick slices and place on salad. Drizzle with french dressing and top with tortilla chips. Serve immediately. 8 servings(Source: Linda Larsen - About)

Grilled Turkey with Delicious Honey Mustard

I love this recipe, full of tender grilled turkey slices and fresh vegetables.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/3 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 lb. boneless turkey breast slices
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 10 oz. bag baby spinach
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

PREPARATION:

In a small bowl, combine mustard, orange juice and honey and mix well with wire whisk to combine. Reserve 1/2 cup of this marinade, cover it and place in refrigerator.

Sprinkle turkey slices with seasoned salt and place in zip lock plastic bag.

Pour rest of marinade over turkey, close bag and let sit for 30 minutes in refrigerator.

Prepare and preheat two sided grill. Remove turkey from marinade, discard this marinade, blot turkey slices gently with paper towels, and cook on grill for 4-6 minutes until thoroughly cooked. Remove from grill and slice into thin strips. Toss with spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, yellow bell pepper, and reserved 1/2 cup marinade. Sprinkle with cheese and serve immediately.   • 1 lb. fully cooked center cut ham slice
  • 1/4 cup raspberry vinaigrette salad dressing
  • 10 oz. pkg. mixed salad greens
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 3 peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup raspberry vinaigrette salad dressing
  • 1 Tbsp. honey

PREPARATION:

Brush ham with 1/4 cup raspberry vinaigrette and set aside. In large bowl combine salad greens, raspberries, and peaches. Combine sour cream, 1/2 cup raspberry vinaigrette. and honey in small bowl and drizzle over salad.

  • 1/4 cup creamy Caesar salad dressing

  • 1 cup garlic croutons

PREPARATION:

In ziplock bag, combine chicken and 1/4 cup salad dressing. Seal bag, turn to coat, and refrigerate for 2-24 hours.

This simple sandwich is so delicious with two kinds of grilled onions. This is another great george foreman grill recipe.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 red onion, sliced 1/4" thick
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced 1/4" thick
  • 1/2 lb. ham slices
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
  • 3 Tbsp. butter, softened
  • 8 slices whole wheat bread
  • 1/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, sliced

PREPARATION:

Preheat dual contact grill. Combine honey, Djon mustard, and thyme leaves. Brush on onion slices. Grill onion slices for 3-5 minutes until tender and marked with grill marks. Remove from grill and set aside.

Grill ham slices for 3-4 minutes until heated through. Spread butter on one side of each piece of bread. Make sandwiches with the grilled onions, ham, and cheese, assembling sandwiches with buttered side out. Grilled Tuna and Avocado Recipe with Mayonaise

Wow - this delicious recipe is so easy to make, and it's elegant enough for company.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 avocado, peeled and chopped
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves
  • 4 (6 oz.) tuna steaks
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • dash pepper

PREPARATION:

In food processor or blender, combine mayonnaise, avocado, lemon juice, Tabasco, and pepper and blend until smooth. Transfer to small bowl, stir in parsley and basil, cover, and refrigerate.

Brush tuna steaks with oil and sprinkle with seasoned sal and pepper.

Grilled Steak Recipe Using George Foreman Grill

Serve this flavorful steak main dish recipe with a green salad, some chewy french bread, and a melon salad.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. grated ginger root
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 lb. top round beef steak
  • 1/2 pound cremini mushrooms

PREPARATION:

Combine all ingredients except steak in a zip lock plastic bag. Slice steak into 1/2" thick slices. Add steak slices to bag, seal bag, and turn to coat. Place bag in bowl or pan, cover, and refrigerate at least 6 hours.

Drain steak slices. Thread steak strips onto 6 skewers along with mushrooms and grill on George Foreman two sided grill for 3-5 minutes until desired doneness.   • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard

  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder

  • 2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts

PREPARATION:

Combine all ingredients except chicken in a small saucepan and cook over medium heat until boiling. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Cool for 30 minutes. Brush on chicken breasts; cover meat and remaining marinade and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 3/4 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves
  • 1/4 tsp. dried oregano leaves

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

PREPARATION:

Rinse and drain chicken and pat dry. Place chicken between two sheets of waxed paper and pound the chicken to 1/3" thick.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 9x5" angel food cake loaf
  • 1/2 cup miniature marshmallows
  • 3 Tbsp. milk chocolate chips

PREPARATION:

Cut angel food cake loaf into 8 slices crosswise. Cut a slit in each slice to form a pocket. Gently place 4-5 marshmallows and 5-6 chocolate chips in each pocket. Press gently to close.   • 10 oz. frozen loaf pound cake, thawed
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup caramel ice ream topping

PREPARATION:

Cut pound cake into 8 slices. In small bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon and mix to combine. Spread on one side of pound cake and cover the butter mixture with chopped pecans. Grilled Sirloin Steak and Corn Salad

You could substitute any kind of cheese or vegetables you'd like in this easy and elegant main dish salad recipe. In the summer, grill outside and use fresh corn cut from the cob. In the winter, pull out your dual-contact indoor grill and use frozen corn. Yum.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 lb. boneless sirloin steak
  • 2 Tbsp. vinaigrette Italian salad dressing
  • 3 ears fresh corn OR 3 cups frozen corn, thawed and drained
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup cubed Havarti cheese
  • 1/2 cup creamy Italian salad dressing

PREPARATION:

Brush steak with vinaigrette salad dressing and let stand for 15 minutes. If using fresh corn, cut the kernels off the cob and blanch in boiling water for 2 minutes. Drain and proceed with recipe.

In large bowl, combine corn, onions, peppers, mushrooms, and cheese with creamy Italian salad dressing and toss to combine.

Grill steak using George Foreman Grill on two sided dual contact grill for 5-9 minutes until desired doneness. Or cook on outdoor grill, over medium coals, for 8-14 minutes until desired doneness. Remove from grill and let stand for 5 minutes. Slice thinly across the grain and place on top of corn salad. Serve immediately. 4-6 servings

Salmon with Salsa Grill Recipe

I am going to start off with the salmon. Its something that perhaps all of us have tried to grill. With George Foreman Grill, im pretty sure this is going to be a treat.

There are a variety of ways that you can use this recipe. All you have to do is let your creative juices flow and you will have a result even better than this one. But for the first timers, I would recommend you to follow this one and let your taste buds speak for themselves.

Ingredients:

4 4-ounce salmon filets
1 teaspoon mild olive oil
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup finely chopped green & black olives, mixed, pitted
1 finely chopped Roma tomato, cut in half, seeds squeezed out
1/4 cup finely chopped flat parsley leaves
1 minced garlic clove
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Directions:

Brush salmon on both sides with the mild olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Grill 6 - 10 minutes, until salmon flakes easily. (Cooking time will vary depending on thickness of
filets and desired doneness.)

While the salmon is cooking, mix the olives, tomato and parsley, garlic, lemon juice and the extra virgin olive oil. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.

Serve salmon hot or cold, topped with a spoonful of the salsa.
